So, I’ve just taken 3 days UNPAID leave to spend with my delightful stinks over half term, so before I’ve even entered a soft play area or any other activity its already cost me over £300 but there’s no price on quality time………….is there??

We’re still struggling with the potty training and Albie. I’ve had to invest in more undies after throwing loads out cos I don’t do fishing shite out of undies. 💩

I have missed a few parties recently, arrived at one 1.5hrs late for a 2 hr party. Got to one a day early. We’ll stop getting invited soon. Ted did go to one with a box on his head too. He had cut out eyes and mouth holes as it was a bowling party so at least he used his initiative there. I just had to apologise when I arrived with my weird child.

Ted and Albie don’t want to be apart at the moment and want to fight when they are together, only this morning Albie was crying and Ted said its ok mummy I’ll put celloptape over his mouth and he’ll stop crying…….I nearly pretended I didn’t hear him so he’d just do it, but think it would be classed as assault and didn’t want Ted to be arrested as we couldn’t afford a solicitor after taking unpaid leave

Ted and I had a date night last night, we went to a fashion show then for a meal. I will start date nights with Albie as soon as stops shitting himself.

Albie has now got into his dressing up which I’m pleased about because I’ve got him a blow up banana outfit to wear for world book day … that will be a big test to see if he’s embraced it like me and Ted.

The cat is still alive, just, I think he’s tried leaving home a few times but luckily one of the stinks has grabs his tail and stopped him ( Tickles likes that) . He was found outside our next door’s bedroom window last week, we live in a town house. Luckily, he picked a perfect time I’d just had a shower and put a conditioning treatment on my hair, Adam was driving down the street and I was hanging outside the top window in just a towel and manky hair trying to coax the cat back in….

I got an email recently saying my stinkies’ stories were going to be featured on momstrustmoms.com which is great but I realised I generally just talk about shite and my lack of motherhood skills?? So I’m trying to think of something clever my kids have done but I’m struggling?????

We had Valentine’s Day and we don’t really do cards but Adam dressed them up a cherubs. They were the grubbiest cherubs ever!! Plus we didn’t trust Albie walking around in a white pair of boxers for too long so it was short and sweet ish 😷😷

They wanted to go to the beach on the last day. I love being outdoors wrapped up so we made a picnic of jam butties and headed off. I realised we could do with a picnic blanket and remembered I had 3 metres of red PVC in the boot of my car, as you do. We sat on a deserted Southport beach, laid out our red PVC and within 20 mins Albie did a runner crying saying too cold , going home!!!! So 50 mins drive there and we sat in McDonalds for a hot chocolate. I do think if we sat there any longer social services would probably have been called.

So all the above I’m classing as positive things as also in this half term I was told I had a brain tumour 🤬🤬

Luckily for me and the Stinks its not cancerous but I still would prefer it not be there.

So for all my moaning and lack of money I’d swap every penny and every shitty pair of undies for the knowledge that I will be around to see them settled with their own families. Which, because I’m a positive person, I know I will be!!!

So, with all that there really is no price on quality time!!!! 💙💙💙
